In the heart of Corrales, New Mexico, Ideum has emerged as a leader of innovation and excellence in the manufacturing sector. Recently, we achieved a significant milestone by being ranked as one of the largest manufacturers in New Mexico by Albuquerque Business First in their 2025 list of top manufacturing firms. Our congratulations to the other manufacturers who made the list.
Founded 25 years ago, Ideum has consistently pushed the boundaries of interactive design. We design and build our patented multitouch tables, kiosks, and displays in-house from our studio in Corrales, using domestically and internationally sourced components. Our hardware can be found all over the country and the world, with installations in most states and 59 different countries.
As our clientele grows, so does our product line. In the past year, we introduced several new touch tables and displays to our lineup, including new unique sizes in our Inline and Presenter lines, the 43” Portrait Kiosk, and the 55” Optically Bonded Drafting II touch table. We also released the long-anticipated Reader Rail Kiosk, the first standard product in our lineup made of painted wood, making it unique in our lineup of hardened aluminum frames and bases.
Beyond the touch table, Ideum is deeply rooted in the New Mexico community. We have dedicated ourselves to helping support our neighbors, be it through donations, sponsorships, or volunteer work. As Ideum grows, we want to give back to our community in other meaningful ways by providing tools that may otherwise be out of reach.
In 2018, we formalized the Technology for Our Community Program, which sought to provide our touch tables and other hardware to in-need groups around the state. In the six years since, we have donated over a dozen touch systems to nonprofits, local government entities, schools, hospitals, and more. Among those groups are the UNM Children’s Hospital, Corrales Fire Department, STEM Santa Fe, and various other schools.
This program is available exclusively to organizations based in New Mexico. We believe that, in the right environment, our touch tables and displays can empower communities, enhance children's education, and enrich overall quality of life. While we offer the program year-round, we can only do so as displays and touch tables become available. If you would like to be considered for a donation, please fill out our online application, and someone from our team will contact you.
In addition to hardware donations, we have hosted tours for schools and extracurricular groups interested in technology and the arts. These tours give students insight into a range of STEAM career paths and facilitate one-on-one interaction with our hardware and our team of designers, programmers, fabricators, and technicians. Additionally, our summer internships are designed to be a jumping off point for new graduates (high school or college), or even an entry into a new career path for older professionals looking to change gears (keep an eye out for 2025 internships to be posted soon).
As Ideum celebrates its recognition as one of New Mexico's top manufacturers, the company remains focused on innovation and excellence. With plans to introduce new products and enhancements in the coming year, Ideum is poised to continue its upward trajectory, contributing to the state's manufacturing landscape and beyond.
