In 2018, Ideum released the Pico as a successor to the world’s first 4K touch screen coffee table, the Duet. Designed to match the Platform II and Drafting II touch tables, it is a powerful system in a compact size. Standing at 22” tall, the Pico is the perfect addition to places where users are seated, from libraries and classrooms to waiting rooms and cafes. They are also a great fit for children’s exhibits, as the shorter height makes it more accessible for kids of all ages.

Powerful multi-user interaction

Don’t let its size fool you - the Pico is equipped with the same powerful integrated computers as its larger counterparts, including the latest generation components from industry leaders Intel® and NVIDIA, all pre-installed with Windows 11 Pro. In 2020 we introduced the Chromebox Pico, which replaces the integrated Windows computer with an AOPEN Chromebox, allowing for seamless integration with Chrome workflows, including Google Classroom.

With a range of display sizes from 43” - 55”, the table can be used by 1-6 users at any given time. Each size boasts a 4K UHD commercial display from LG and touch technology from TES, all of which is protected by a sturdy 4mm glass surface. The base and frame are built of the same durable powder-coated aluminum as our other models, and the locking access panels ensure even the most inquisitive users cannot tamper with the system.

Touch screen coffee table for a variety of environments

You can find Pico touch screen coffee tables in a variety of environments, from schools and libraries to museums and waiting rooms. The Vestavia Hills Library in the Forest uses their 49” Pico in the Library Children’s Department, where it’s available for the young patrons to explore art, science, nature, and space, as well as play games and find other learning opportunities. You can also find one at the UNM Children’s Hospital, where it is used in the pediatric neurosurgery waiting room, loaded with games and other activities to be used by patients and visitors as a much-needed distraction. Like our other flat-top touch tables, the Pico supports Tangible Engine, which can be used to design custom object recognition applications, either by using the no-code Rapid Prototyping Tool, or with an entirely bespoke application built by Ideum.

With all new pricing, the Pico touch screen coffee table is our most economic all-in-one model, with options to fit just about any budget. To learn more about the table, and to get a full price list, reach out to our sales group today!
