Our touch tables and Presenter touch displays are constructed in small batches at our studios in Corrales, New Mexico. We are often asked if we can create custom units with different features or out of unique materials. Recently, a repeat Government client asked us to create ultra-high-resolution touch tables for a particular application requiring the best possible resolution.

We know something about pushing the boundaries with touch table technology. We developed the world’s first 8K touch table in 2022 and can even boast that we released the first 4K touch table in 2015, seven years before that. This experience is essential as we continue to push for higher resolution than ever before. The challenge here was to design a dual 8K touch table with a stunning combined resolution of 15360 x 4320 pixels.

Based on our standard dual 4K Pano touch table, we removed the single glass sensor and replaced it with two 65” TES/3M sensors and two LG 8K mini-LED monitors. In addition, since this particular government client didn’t have any ADA considerations, we modified the table's height as well, extending the bases to provide a 38” height, which is more comfortable for the extended use the client expects.

Our Industrial Design team efficiently modified our standard product to meet our client's needs. This included ensuring that the touch tables would fit into a secure environment and that our hardware was compatible with the facility's level of security. We had early meetings focusing on the requirements and design changes and scheduled check-ins to ensure everything went smoothly. Our technicians assisted with installation and set up, delivering the project within the government fiscal year.

Our team is always excited to take on new challenges, push the technology, or work with new materials. We will continue to share new custom touch tables and kiosks as we build them.
