On June 25th, we hosted our annual Summer Studio Party. Every year, we invite local industry professionals, friends, and family to visit our facilities. At the party, guests have the opportunity to interact with old and new projects, and talk to the team members who had a hand in creating them.

This year, our party coincided with the Association of Academic Museums and Galleries (AAMG) conference, which was taking place at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. A shuttle between UNM campus and our studio brought conference visitors to Corrales, where they enjoyed a beautiful New Mexico summer evening and connected with Ideum staff, local guests, and other conference attendees.

Showcasing new exhibit design work

Each year, we look forward to showing our new work (and some of our classic exhibits). One of the greatest things about working at Ideum is that we get to collaborate with so many wonderful clients who have great stories to tell. We are always very excited to share these experiences with our guests. Some of the projects we had on display this year were a prototype of our projection-mapped topographic relief map for Valles Caldera, an interactive exhibit on Policarpio Valencia’s embroidered textiles for the Museum of International Folk Art, and an interactive interview station with World War II veterans for the Battleship Missouri Memorial

Guests also had the opportunity to interact with the Tasting Table, which we debuted at our Studio Party in 2024 with our wine tasting module. This year, guests were the first to try out our prototype of the Beer Tasting Experience with beers from local brewery Steel Bender Brewyard.

We look forward to this event every year and are grateful for the opportunity to share local food, wine, and beer with our family, friends, and guests from across the country. A special thank you to the AAMG Conference attendees and organizers for visiting and including us in their programming.

If you missed this event, don't worry! You can sign up for our newsletter to receive news from Ideum, including new projects and upcoming events.
