Ideum’s Pro Touch Table was first introduced nearly 15 years ago. It wasn’t our first touch screen table but it was the first successor to our projection-based touch tables. The original Pro, circa 2010, had HD resolution, an IR-based (infrared) touch system, and ran Windows 7. A more recognizable version with a 4K display and P-Cap touch didn’t emerge until about five years later. The 8K version of the Pro touch table was developed just a few years ago and has recently become popular. In December, we sold more 75” 8K Pro touch screen tables than any other of our other large tables, the Pano or the Colossus.
The Pro’s lasting power and popularity is rooted in its versatility. It supports a variety of display sizes, including 49”, 55”, 65”, and the 8K 75” models. It can also support various computer systems. We’ve sold these units with powerful graphics cards like the 4090s and with terabytes of storage. The Pro is customizable for diverse uses and settings; you can find it used in museums, experience centers, labs, schools, and by government clients.
Like most of our touch screen tables and displays, the Pro has an aluminum frame and chassis. It is lockable and secure for public or semi-public spaces. The base has an amplifier and Yamaha speakers, enough for the busiest public environments. Like all of our units, the Pro is designed and made in the USA from globally sourced parts. Its aluminum base is fabricated right here in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
