We offer a variety of multitouch kiosks so you can pick and choose the solution that works best for your application and space. The freestanding Portrait is a vertical touchscreen kiosk available in two different sizes, and is great for easily catching the attention of visitors with its eye-catching height and 4K UHD touchscreen display. For something more unobtrusive, the Drafting II is a great option. It’s available in four different sizes and features a 4K UHD multitouch screen in a landscape orientation, mounted at a 24 degree angle that is comfortable for visitors to use. For a more unique and highly customizable model, look no further than the Reader Rail kiosk: made of durable and elegant wood laminate, this ultrawide 5K display can be customized to fit your space seamlessly, and comes bundled with the TouchStory software builder, giving freedom to design and build unique interactive applications with no development or coding knowledge required.
These kiosks are turnkey systems, with fully integrated computers running Windows 11 Pro. This allows you to use any Windows-based software on the screens, including web-hosted applications. The dedicated graphics card can handle demanding graphics, with upgrades available for even more powerful applications. They don’t require any complex installation, and are ready to use out of the box – just plug them in and push the power button to get started.
If you don’t have the square footage for a standalone kiosk, our wall-mounted options are another great solution. The Presenter and Inline are each available in 10 different sizes, with a variety of resolutions and aspect ratios that can fit just about any size wall space. The Presenter is able to be easily installed on a wall, just like a regular TV, with the included wall mount. The Inline is designed to be installed directly into the wall, creating a seamless flush mounted screen allowing for an unobstructed presence that is especially useful in narrow hallways.
The display-only models can be purchased with a rear-mounted Windows 11 computer, or you can connect them to your own instead. They are also fully compatible with select models of BrightSign digital signage players.
Once you have your hardware picked out, you can begin to select your software options. Applications that act as digital docents, interactive maps, and informational collection viewers engage and inform visitors with unique, intuitive tech, and allow each visitor to explore and learn at their own pace.
Since our touch kiosks and displays operate on Windows 11, there are few restrictions on which applications are supported. Many of our clients use existing, subscription-based software or no-code services to create customizable applications that pair seamlessly with our hardware. Popular options amongst users include RoveIQ for customizable wayfinding software, and Intuiface, for no-code application building. Others have websites that are easily translated into touchscreen interactives, utilizing web browsers in kiosk mode. Another solution is working with Ideum’s development team to design and build a completely bespoke interactive.
