During the supply chain disruptions a few years ago, Ideum stopped being a “just in time” manufacturer and began holding stock items. This was done to meet the needs of our clients and partners and ensure that we had items with relatively short lead times. Anticipating future disruptions, we decided last year to continue to hold many components in stock. With on-again, off-again tariffs, we are glad we did, and I am happy to say that our lead times remain at just a couple of weeks for almost all of our standard products.

Our touch displays and multitouch tables are designed and built in the USA from globally sourced components. Most of our metal is from the USA, but we do get some parts for some products from Canada and Mexico. In addition, LCDs and controller cards are almost all made in China, although we also get some touch controller products from Europe. There aren’t many options for these items in the United States.

In just the last week, we’ve received many inquiries about pricing and lead times, so it has been great to let our customers know that at Ideum, nothing has changed. Not only do we have our products in stock, but we’ve continued launching new ones, such as the 43” Portrait and the new optically bonded 55” and 8K 65” displays.  Next week, we will officially launch the new 55” optically bonded Drafting II touch table. For those inquiring about pricing, we have no plans to increase our prices.

If you have any questions, please contact our sales group. Thanks for reading and for your interest in our interactive displays and touch tables.
