We have two exciting events happening with the Tasting Table and Wine Experience this Fall. These events are the perfect opportunity to experience a first-of-its-kind interactive wine-tasting experience here in our home state of New Mexico.

The Tasting Table and Wine Experience are an interactive way to taste and experience wine and provide a unique opportunity to socialize around the table. The experience is fun and enriching for both the novice and experienced wine taster. The interactive was designed to demystify and democratize the tasting experience, allowing guests to share the aromas and flavors they taste with each other and the winemaker.

October 19th: Wine Tasting at the New Mexico Museum of Art with VARA Winery and Mission Winery

On October 19th the Tasting Table and Wine Experience will be part of a wine tasting with VARA Winery and Mission Winery at the New Mexico Museum of Art. The event is part of the Saints & Santos: Picturing the Holy in New Spain Symposium. The wine tasting will follow an artist talk with Frederico Vigil, who will share about his fresco that depicts the history of wine in New Mexico. His fresco, and an Ideum interactive kiosk that is a companion to the fresco, is a work-in-progress at the Albuquerque Convention Center.

The artist talk with Frederico Vigil is free to attend. The Wine Tasting that follows on the New Mexico Museum of Art Plaza is ticketed, tickets can be purchased here.

November 8th: Grand Opening of the New Mexico Wine Studio

On November 8th, the New Mexico Wine Association will host a grand opening for the New Mexico Wine Studio. The Wine Studio will be located in old town Albuquerque, on Plaza Don Luis, and will celebrate 50 New Mexico Wineries.

The New Mexico Wine Studio will have the first permanent installation of the Tasting Table and Wine Experience. Go bring the studio a visit and learn more about the wines New Mexico has to offer.
