The Association of Children’s Museum will be hosting its annual conference Interactivity in Albuquerque this year! The conference takes place May 14-16th at the Albuquerque Convention Center. Ideum will be exhibiting in booth 27 and we would love to see you in our home state.

Showcasing Exhibit Design for Children 

In our booth, we will be showcasing some of our favorite child-focused exhibits. Throughout the years we have designed many interactive experiences focused on children. Here is a sneak peek of what you can expect to see in our ACM Interactivity booth this year:

• Postcards from the Paleozoic is a touchscreen software application that we designed for the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science’s newest exhibit, the Hall of Ancient Life. The interactive exhibit invites visitors to create personalized digital postcards based on different Paleozoic environments which can be downloaded directly to their phone via QR code for personal use and sharing.
  
  
• The Dueling Dinosaurs Appearance Interactive is an interactive exhibit that was developed for the North Carolina Museum of Natural Science’s Dueling Dinosaurs exhibit. The interactive software allows visitors to combine creative and critical thinking skills to envision the appearance of a Triceratops.

New 43” Portrait Touchscreen Kiosk

We will also debut our new 43” Portrait touchscreen kiosk at our Interactivity booth. Visitors to the conference will be the first to try out our new smaller vertical digital kiosk. The Portrait can be outfitted with a motion-tracking camera which makes the kiosk great for motion- and photo-based interactives such as the above-mentioned Postcards from the Paleozoic exhibit.
