As a New Mexico company based in Corrales, Ideum is proud to be the host sponsor for the New Mexico Association of Museums Conference in Santa Fe, taking place October 3-4, 2024. The conference theme, Museums - The Changing Environment is perfectly suited to Ideum’s history of innovation in interactive museum exhibits. Several Ideum team members will be in Santa Fe throughout the conference, and we hope that you will take the opportunity to join us via one of these opportunities.

First, on Wednesday, October 2, you can join us at VARA’s Santa Fe Tasting Room between 5 and 7 p.m. for a Museum Mixer. Conference attendees have the opportunity to register for the conference, which starts the next day. The tasting room is conveniently located, right next to the Eldorado Hotel.

Visitors will receive one complimentary glass of wine and can try out Ideum’s new Tasting Table and Wine Experience. Come enjoy a glass of wine, chat with the Ideum team, network with other museum professionals, and get inspired by an interactive touch table experience.

On Thursday, October 3, at 1:30 pm in the auditorium of the New Mexico History Museum, Ideum will be presenting in collaboration with The New Mexico Museum of Space History about an ongoing project. We will discuss why and how a museum determines to pursue a large-scale interactive experience and the design process for achieving their goals.

On Friday, one of our Ideum touch tables and several examples of our interactive museum exhibit software will be on display on Museum Hill, in the Lab Foyer. We’d love the opportunity to give you a tour of some of our projects and get your creative ideas for interactive exhibits flowing. We’d also be happy to chat with you about our exhibition design, custom audiovisual projects, and hardware.
