The 2024 Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC) Conference, taking place this weekend (September 28 - October 1) in Chicago, promises to be an exciting gathering of innovators, educators, and technologists shaping the future of informal science education. Ideum has partnered with Clark Planetarium to showcase our latest touch tables paired with their engaging and popular multi-user science exhibits.

At ASTC 2024, you can visit the Clark Planetarium booth (number 201) and get hands-on with our 65” Platform II, as well as the experimental OLED 65” Platform II, each of which will be running Clark’s software exhibits. Among these exhibits are Colonize Mars, Gravity Lab, and Stellar Playground, which are all designed to work on a range of Ideum touch tables and kiosks, even our ultrawide Pano and Reader Rail systems.

Conference attendees can get a firsthand experience of how the future of informal science education can be shaped by cutting-edge digital interactivity. These touch table systems are not just exhibits - they are interactive portals into the wonders of science, bridging the gap between technology and education. Incorporating collaborative and interactive exhibits ensures science centers can keep up with evolving visitor expectations and provide an environment where curiosity thrives.

Not attending #ASTC2024? That’s okay! You can get first-hand interaction with these tables and exhibits at museums and science centers all over the world, including Adler Planetarium in Chicago, Science Museum Oklahoma in Oklahoma City, the Frost Museum of Science in Miami, and even Petrosains, The Discovery Centre in Malaysia.
