On July 24, 2019, Ideum was glad to welcome a troop of local Girl Scouts for a tour of our labs and studios and an introduction to our team, including exhibit technicians, developers, designers, and producers. The tour included a discussion of a wide range of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) career paths and information about Ideum’s immersive experiences and touch products.

The event was part of Ideum’s ongoing support of local non-profit organizations whose mission is to support local education and social justice. Because Ideum’s work spans engineering, hardware design, custom fabrication, and custom software programming, our team was able to offer a broad and meaningful educational experience for local girls.

In addition to giving tours to local groups, last year Ideum launched our Technology for Our Community program. The program offers touch tables and displays to a variety of local non-profit, educational, and community organizations.
