Mark Novelero is a Web Developer at Ideum, with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts from the University of California, San Diego, and a Master of Arts in Museum Studies from New York University. Before joining Ideum, he served as Interpretive Programs Supervisor at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, where he managed and trained museum educators to deliver engaging educational programs. Mark is deeply committed to museum education, exhibitions, and the arts—a passion that continues to shape his work in interactive media.
At Ideum, he brings expertise in JavaScript, React, Vue.js, WordPress, Directus, and AWS to build dynamic, content-rich digital experiences. His recent projects include Voices from the Front for the National WWII Museum in New Orleans, the Awards Kiosk exhibition for the Western Heritage and Cowboy Museum, and an educational website developed in collaboration with the Swinomish Tribe of the Pacific Northwest. He thrives on creating intuitive interfaces and integrating complex backend systems to deliver seamless, user-centered solutions.
In his spare time, Mark enjoys traveling, attending cultural events, and walking through the neighborhoods of New York City.
