Alexander is an Industrial designer at Ideum who translates artistic form into tangible, manufacturable designs. Raised in New Mexico's vibrant art scene, he developed his foundation for making through sculpture classes, construction work, and experimentation. He later formalized his education at Stanford University, where he earned a BS in Physical Design and Manufacturing with a minor in Sculpture.
At Ideum, he shapes his designs around the company’s modern manufacturing capabilities, leveraging the precision and iterative power of 3D printing, laser cutting, and CNC milling to prototype products and develop custom exhibits. Outside of work, Alexander enjoys pursuing his own design projects, gardening, and maintaining his saltwater reef aquarium.
