As travel volume begins to rise at the Albuquerque Sunport, fliers will be greeted by a new Ideum installation: a stunning 86” display embedded within custom cabinetry. Ideum worked closely with the University of New Mexico’s Communications and Marketing team to design and build a dynamic digital kiosk showcasing the offerings and culture of one of New Mexico’s flagship public universities.
Adorned in UNM graphics and eye-capturing Cherry and Lobo Grey colors, this custom installation features an Ideum 86” Inline display integrated into an 11-foot enclosure built by Ideum’s fabrication studio. UNM captioned marketing videos are run through an internal PC, a Brightsign player, and a cellular modem to allow University staff to remotely update content.
With vivid content welcoming new Lobos to the University of New Mexico, this project, a blend of custom woodwork, industrial design, and state-of-the-art digital signage, will welcome Sunport travelers for years to come. The Ideum team was very fortunate to collaborate with UNM and the Sunport on this project—and in tandem with our other Sunport kiosk celebrating the New Mexico film industry, we are thrilled to play a role in showcasing our region’s unique contributions to art and public education.
