Exhibit Production Intern

Summary

Compensation: $15.00 /hour
Position Type: Internship.
Location: On-site in Corrales, New Mexico.

 

The Position

We seek a full-time Intern to work with our hardware production group. This a paid, fixed term internship for 10-12 weeks (depending on the candidate’s availability and the timing of the hire). The hardware production group at Ideum designs and develops multitouch tables and touch screens for public spaces. Responsibilities will vary but learning how to assemble and test hardware will be key. Depending on the candidate they may also work with various teams within Ideum and be involved in 3D printing, or programming, along with electronics development.

General Qualifications

The candidate needs to be passionate about new technology and about this position. We are looking for someone who is technologically proficient and has a deep knowledge of PC systems in particular. Experience with audio visual equipment, shop skills, electrical system knowledge, and electronics experience is very helpful. The candidate will need to be able to contribute to technical documentation and possibly support documentation, so strong written and verbal and communication skills are required.

In addition, the candidate will learn about logistics, support, product design, and other aspects of hardware development. We design, assemble, test, ship, sell and market our unique hardware all out of the same facility. This is a fixed term, 10 to 11 week position.

Exhibit Tech

Summary

Position Type: Full time (40 Hours).
Location: On-site in Corrales, New Mexico.

The Position

We seek a full-time Exhibit Technician who can help our multitouch tables and custom exhibit installations assembly and support group. We are looking for a detail-oriented, precision craftsman who can help us build the highest quality integrated computer systems.

General Qualifications

Candidates must have PC systems experience, experience working with basic tools, and excellent written and verbal communications skills. Experience with electronic systems is a strong plus.

We seek a highly motivated individual who can help with all aspects of our table production from building to QA to support. The right candidate might be also be asked to help with inventory, ordering, and logistics, so strong organizational skills are needed.

We also need help with technical documentation, email and phone support, so strong writing and communication skills are required. As a relatively small company (40+ people) that is fast growing, we have a diverse set of products and projects and need someone who is flexible and has a diverse skill set.

HCI Programmer

Summary

Position Type: This is a full-time position (40 hours).
Location: On-site in Corrales, New Mexico.

The Position

We seek a developer with demonstrated programming experience and other complementary skills to join our team of programmers, designers, UI / UX developers, and producers. We work on custom installations for world renowned museums, Fortune 500 companies, and other interesting clients. As our company continues to expand, we are looking for a self-starter who can contribute right away, but who is also willing to learn new things.
