Ideum is always looking for talented and motivated individuals to join our team here in Corrales, New Mexico. We develop custom hardware, websites and exhibits for museums, nonprofits, and socially responsible companies. We have also developed software including: the GestureWorks multitouch SDK and GestureWorks Gameplay. We are also the principal organization behind the Open Exhibits software initiative.

C++ Programmer

Summary

Compensation: Dependent upon Experience.

We seek a developer with demonstrated programming experience and other complimentary skills to join our development team. We are a team of programmers, UI /UX developers, designers, hardware engineers, who are looking for other creative developers to join in the fun. We work on research projects, custom museum projects, and development projects with some of the world’s biggest tech companies. Along with software, we develop integrated multitouch systems that include some of our hardware components.

For this position, we are looking for an intermediate to well-experienced programmer who is not afraid to learn new things. As our company continues to expand, we are looking for a self-starter who can contribute right away, but who is also willing to learn on the fly. We welcome applications with a range of experience levels, as we have a number of projects and initiatives underway.

General Qualifications

Beyond technical skills, we are looking for someone with strong conceptual and information design skills, and organizational ability. A college degree would be a plus, but is not a requirement. (see Qualifications and Extra Credit for more)
