The NASA Lunar Robotics exhibit was developed for the Lunar Precursor Robotic Program (LPRP). This interactive NASA program is dedicated to gathering the necessary data to reduce the risks of future human activities on the moon. The touch screen kiosk displays high-resolution videos and images. It also controls a secondary spherical, Magic Planet display, which presents animations and NASA World Wind data.
Ideum worked closely with NASA and with Global Imagination (makers of the Magic Planet) to develop this interactive exhibit. This Flash-based exhibit is extensible, with an XML file that allows NASA personnel to easily add or modify entire screens as well as individual media components.
